Skills creation Here i will touch up on how skills should work and how they should be created.
Hello, I'm here to explain the value of making skills. Please be aware that all characters will have a small selection of starter skills when they create their characters, however those skills have a value DMG of 1. Meaning their basic.
However those skills can be upgraded if the player so wishes. That can be done by moving towards the skill board In [Creation Area] and filling out something I like to call skill submission.
Please be aware that not all skills will have the same amount of damage and the different types of skills out their. Now before I move on, I would say this has nothing to do with magic related skills. These are basic attack, counter, and defensive skills.
Upgrading Skills:
When upgrading skills make sure you label the subject like such [Upgrading skill] < The name > that way the admin and mods know that this is the same skill and your simple increasing the value of this skill - of course it will have to be approved like all other submissions.
Once approved the admin or mod will move the skill to the approve skill selection. After this the creator of the skill must update his/her character log.
Learning New Skills:
Learning new skills are simple and can be done in two methods, the first is training for a new skill slot which can be done in the skill board; creating a thread called [New Skill] < Name of skill > fill out the template and let the admin or mod approve your skill. Once the approval has been done and moved the player must now updated his/her character log adding the skill to his/her skill list.
This can be done by simply copying and pasting. Once that is done the user can now use skill.
- However the second method is buying a skill from the shop area, once the skill is bought you must add it to your character skill list - which can be found in your character log. No approval is needed for skills bought from the shop.
