Magic Guide Magic the internal energies that flow through all living creatures, and undead creatures (Makes them alive). Since the discovery of magic, creatures of all shapes have been using this so-called magic in order to preform simple, or even hard task. Those who use magic are often called Mana users. However those who increase their study beyond the basic become what we know today as Witches, Warlocks, and etc. Our Mage Class. Due to all life forms having magic inside their bodies, this does not mean everyone can use that magic. Inorder to cast magic one must know how to focus and build on the magic that resides inside their vessels.
Mana: First everyone should know Mana is a side stat that everyone's character can use/learn. If you plan on using magic you must follow the information that is about to be explain. The mana stat will show not only others, but the admin and mods that your character can use magic. You should add Mana to your character log along with the rest of your stats. This stat can also be upgraded with SP Just like other stats.
Mana Stat:
Mana 0/10
Now I know this is different from the other stats, this is due to magic being it's own stat that can be used by only those who wish to use magic. The level cap is 10, each stat in this stat will tell what rank level spells your character is capable of using. However each rank has its own DMG. All races have their own Mana Pools (MP), using spells will only naturally drain this pool.
- Rank 1 - 5 DMG
- Spells cost 2 MP
- Rank 2 - 10 DMG
- Spells cost 4 MP
- Rank 3 - 15 DMG
- Spells cost 8 MP
- Rank 4 - 20 DMG
- Spells cost 9 MP
- Rank 5 - 25 DMG
- Spells cost 10 MP
- Rank 6 - 30 DMG
- Spells cost 20 MP
- Rank 7 - 35 DMG
- Spells cost 25 MP
- Rank 8 - 40 DMG
- Spells cost 30 MP
- Rank 9 - 45 DMG
- Spells cost 35 MP
- Rank 10 - 50 DMG
- Spells Cost 40 MP
In order to get the final value of your rank DMG one must times the rank DMG by their Strength stat which would be like so > Rank 7 35 DMG > Strength stat 5 > 35x5 = 175. 175 Is the total value DMG of that rank.
This allows character to branch out choose to learn magic if they so will. There is also more, there are several different types of magic as well. Like Buffing, Debuffs, Healing, Duration (Last more then a single post).
Buffs: Allows one to increase their or someone else physical performance. This can also be used to block taunts, stuns, and other effects like stun, poison and etc.
Debuffs: Can hinder another player's character, by stunning, and or trapping them. Debuffs could also means effects such as sleeping dust, poisoning, binding.
Healing: Usually done by Priest, but even other players can learn simple spells. Can heal minor to major wounds, replace lost health.
Duration: Spells that last for more than a single post, cool for those who won't to keep using the same spell but also bad cause this drains from their mana pool by 5 for every post.
